Start with clean, dry timber. Remove dirt, dust and any loose old coating so the oil can reach the wood.
Apply the oil evenly with a brush, roller or pad, working along the grain of the timber.
The penetrating oil works its way into the timber. Give it time to dry fully. Drying times are listed in the technical data sheet.
Check the timber from time to time. When it starts to look dry, clean it and refresh the coat so the protection keeps going.
